Job Description:
Amergis Boston is looking for an experienced Travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in echocardiography and be capable of working independently while performing diagnostic heart ultrasound procedures. This role requires someone who is highly skilled, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a dynamic hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms: Conduct high-quality echocardiogram studies on patients, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the diagnostic images.
- Independent operation: Work independently while performing exams, ensuring all protocols and procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams: Work closely with cardiologists, physicians, and other medical professionals to interpret results and assist in diagnosing patients.
- Equipment maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient examinations and results.
- Patient care: Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort during diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of specialized experience in Echocardiography.
- Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from CCI.
- EPIC experience: Must have experience working with the EPIC system.
- BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccination required (booster not required), flu vaccination required by start date. Medical and religious exemptions accepted.
- Independent Work: Must be capable of working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
