Job Description:
Amergis Boston is seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist for an exciting opportunity at a busy hospital in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience and be skilled in sterile compounding, with additional experience in Omnicell and EPIC systems being highly preferred. As a Travel Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all medications are dispensed accurately and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including counseling patients on medications and monitoring patient therapy.
- Assist in sterile compounding and prepare intravenous medications as needed.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and maintain accurate records.
Experience & Requirements:
- Prior Hospital Experience: Previous experience working in a hospital setting is required.
- Sterile Compounding: Experience in sterile compounding is necessary.
- Omnicell Experience: Preferred but not required.
- EPIC Experience: Preferred but not required.
- Licensing: Current state pharmacy license in good standing.
