Press Operator

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Job Overview:

Under the general direction of the team manager and in collaboration with team members, you will play a key role in supporting our company's quality and service goals. As a Press Operator, you will operate equipment such as multi-color sheet-fed or continuous/web presses, mainly working on custom or base forms or high-speed single-color presses. Manual numbering may be required at an intermediate to advanced level, and manual setups and changeovers are typical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Press Setup & Operation: Perform efficient and complete setups for presses, including identifying and loading the correct stock, adjusting the paper path, bending and mounting plates, mixing PMS ink, and setting up necessary functions (e.g., perforations, numbering, file holes, thermo unit).
• Job Execution: Understand and follow order instructions, ensuring that the press runs productively while meeting ink density, water balance, color matching, and size requirements to exceed customer expectations.
• Mechanical Troubleshooting: Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues, including making necessary adjustments to the equipment, performing blanket changes, washing up units, cleaning the water system, and adjusting roller settings.
• Quality Control: Ensure that the press meets or exceeds quality standards, including multi-color registration and required attributes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Age: Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the USA
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 year of printing experience
